Tools4FIM FIMalyzerThe FIMalyzer analyzes the configuration of FIM 2010 installations (including extension code) and presents the output either interactively, or in the form of a Word report. FIMalyzer Lite does the same thing, but only for the Synchronization Service.
For more information watch a video presentation 'An overview of the FIMalyzer' - this video is a short introduction to the FIMalyzer There is also a more detailed tutorial video presentation ‘Using the FIMalyzer’ - this video takes you from your FIM 2010 configuration right through to a finished report demonstrating the FIMalyzer's functionality on the way. Full or Lite version? For both versions, the Word report can be configured with your own styles, and additional text and graphics – so that your customized report can be regenerated every time your system configuration changes. The report can of course be printed, but as it is fully cross-referenced with hyperlinks, it is perhaps most useful in an online form. There is only one piece of software to install, whether you use the FIMalyzer in its full form, or FIMalyzer Lite, is a licensing decision. The cheaper “Lite” license only covers the Synchronization Service configuration - so not including the Service/Portal configuration (as such, it offers more or less the same functionality as Oxford Computer Group’s ILM 2007 Documentor). Should you need to upgrade later, you can buy a full license, the price of which will include a credit for the Lite license you already have. Download the FIMalyzer & sample project - test it for free
Note: by downloading the FIMalyzer you are confirming that you have read and agreed with the Tools4FIM EULA which may be downloaded here The FIMalyzer is free to download and comes with a sample project - however, you will need to buy a license for use with each FIM 2010 implementation. FIMalyzer 3x Multi License Pack for Projects and Mutiple Environments ($3000)
FIMalyzer Single Environment License ($1995)
FIMalyzer Lite Single Environment License ($795)
(NB: If you need to activate your FIMalyzer License manually please follow the instructions by clicking on 'License' within the FIMalyzer - you will need to generate your activation request code and then go to the 'Manual Activation' page here) |
